More about Khan River Lodge
There are some things we all dream of doing at least once in our lifetime, and an African safari is one of them, where you will experience one of the greatest adventures on earth. Africa, land of sunlight and splendor, stamps her imprint on your soul like nowhere else on earth, where every conceivable animal roams, including a stunning collection of animals like Kudu, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Oryx, Impala, Blesbok, Giraffe, and Warthog. Namibia, in particular, conjures up powerful images of the African continent. An old African proverb states that "You can never shake the ancient dust of Africa off your boots"
Our History
Namibia, previously known as South West Africa, was Africa's last colony to gain independence in March 1990, and offers some of Africa's most breathtaking and contrasting sceneries. Due to its economic and political stability, Namibia is destined to become one of the most sought after tourist destinations on the African continent.
For the last 15 Years we have been building up game stock on our 6 000 ha game farm. Let Khan River Lodge offer you an unforgettable African experience in central Namibia.
Khan River was originally a cattle farm but was converted to a game farm and tourist destination 15 years ago. All internal fences were removed allowing the game to roam freely.
Our goal is to offer our guests an unforgettable, down-to-earth Namibian experience with a personal touch.
This Farm style lodge offers warm hospitality in true Namibian style and is an ideal overnight stop for the intrepid explorer. We offer a variety of activities for those who prefer to stay longer such as game drives, bird watching, target shooting, and walks through the bushveld.
